BB Sarah Han's 1st Bday Celebrations

I was taken aback when told that I was appointed to shoot for this event. Its kinda stress when Sarah's daddy is also a photographer himself. Nonetheless, I went ahead with the assignment with the thought of "just enjoy the shoot, do it your own way" as told by BB Sarah's parents. haha!

I know I have always been slow with processing due to huge amount of backlogs. While taking a break from editing my current job, I've found out that both Johnny and Chevy has posted their versions of the event! I realised I'm serious lagging behind. (Apologies to my clients)

So I took a little time to choose and do these shots which I really like them... especially the happiness they entails..

Wide Angle Portraits

It was a risk for me to attempt portraits with the Tokina ATX Pro 11-16mm f/2.8 lens. This UWA (Ultra Wide Angle) lens is not easy to use due to its distortion at the corners. Framing becomes a challenge (something I am damn weak in... haha!) Here's few shots on first attempt on this ultra sharp UWA lens.

Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM

Been to so many places today, like Wing Shing, Man Shing, DC Wave, CAM2 and Tin Cheung, and it seems like these lens were so HOT that almost all were outta stock! Found one at DC Fever for HKD3170 (~SGD577). When I was about to lose hope, I thought I could call Echo Photo since I was in Tsim Sha Tsui (disappointed after Tin Cheung). To my surprise, uncle @echo photo told me stock available! Price is HKD3100 (cheaper!). I rushed down immediately! Here's the pic, unedited, straight out from the cam. Only resize. Check it out! Focus is on number 8 of the calculator buttons. :)

And not forgetting... Merry X'mas!!!
